His Commitment To You

I have been saying how great you have to commit to God. But as I was singing today I thought of a poem. Here it is. It's been inspired by a song called "Never Let Go"

You Never Let Go
Your mercy,
your commitment maybe weak
But His commitment;
He will never;
Not for a moment
Not for a second
Not for a twinkling of an eye
(the reflection of light off your eye)

He will be with you and that is his commitment to you. And that hope you can bank on. Because He knows. If you have never known this God of commitment who has never broken any promise He made then you can today - God has made a way through Jesus to know that he holds you where no one can snatch you. If you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess that only through Jesus you can know God then you will immediately enter into his commitment that does not fail. His commitment to you does not rely on anything that you've done. It is not about anything you can do. God does not look at that. He just wants to do good to you and let you know Him. He loves you. You are created by Him, for Him, and through Him. He knows all about you.

In addition He will not let go of the plans He has for your life. He will not relent until your righteousness [that is all the things you hope for and do] shines like the dawn. [that is a picture] He is not slow to fulfill those promises. I compare it to a dream. If you have ever dreamed then you know sometimes they are more real than when you wake up. So plans from God must show that God exists. Because everything that is his is known by Him. If you are his then he knows you. That just means that "He knows his own - has friendship and relationship with them" There is another knowing, which is a casual acquaintance.The end result will be that everything you have hoped for will be reality.

It's no wonder I want to give everything to Him! But it's not about me. It's about what He can do for you. Everything you ever thought is important. Your life has purpose. I have found out all about Him and He is Kind, Gives you only good things you can't repay, and He always wins. What a track record He has!
