I have been thinking about the phrase "Playing the Strings of God's Heart" and I had a bright spark the other day, that I've been gifted with playing like what comes from God's heart. (which begs the response: I want to know what your heart is like)
Here is a song inspired from that.

Embracing Cold Winds

Being winter this heading is kinda timely, I am able to proceed forward in getting my songs out there (that God has blessed me with) while sharing the motivation and by God's mercy, faithful sayings to help anyone that is wondering "how do I make sense of the situation I'm in? should I be doing something more?"
Well, since there's only one more thing to talk about, lets proceed. I've been struggling in this last season, it's real. My heart is not in the work that I'm doing. People presume too much, not asking how I am, we don't ask questions of each other. More than that, my heart says I don't deserve anything, I seem to be putting more focus on money, and not on sitting at Jesus feet. But this is not the whole picture. I'm proving my love for God by the deeds I do and not necessarily the words. So if you are not in this place, It's not what it looks like. What I mean is, you shouldn't ask for trials to come, or circumstances to happen.

YWAM Update: Backwards Forwards
Hey there, for another update, from Oxford! (though I'm in Christchurch at the moment, visiting my parents!) I am super excited at the moment though I feel like every step I take I take two backwards. I have really been struggling for the life of me to be victorious over my addiction to video games. If you would like to share in this with me, contact me and I would love to be more honest and open about it. Well, maybe the best way to put it is, I am honest and open about it, but part of victory is confessing to another our faults and allowing the Holy Spirit to not only be victorious, but Ignite in my heart and show God superior to everything.

"Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good;" (Rom 12:9 RSV)
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good." (Rom 12:9 NKJV)
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good." (Rom 12:9 NKJV)
The only thing Jesus asks of us is to hate evil and cling to good. Of all the things that I would have thought of to show sincere love, and none of it would be that!

Psalm 42:2 "My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" NKJV
Hey, the realisation hit me yesterday something that is very simple to put into practice. I was talking with God in a worship time at our base in Oxford and received a word from Him, but I didn't think it was supposed to be said then. So I talked about it with God. Then I felt guilty that I hadn't said anything. Thoughts like "You should have said what you were thinking" "You are grieving the Spirit" "You are going to have to work towards getting back in His presence" Even though I hadn't done anything.

1 John 3:1 "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him." NKJV
NASB adds in - and such we are.
Help me to find the riches of the kind of love that makes me your child. I do not want anything else. To be loved by you and to love you is where my identity and value lies. The revelation of Your love is the source of all delight and pleasure. Do not withhold yourself from me, my Beloved. You have said to my heart, "Seek my face" my heart says to you "Your face, Lord, I will seek" Help me into the deep places of God. You see my heart. You started it, I have an answer to those who ask me "He started it" This kind of love which my heart yearns for.

The Gospel according to Matthew
Greetings. Right now i'm mulling over a phrase that I wrote in one of my old notebooks- this is because I am compiling alot of what I have written and remember into a form that people will be able to understand. Love that you have cannot be given. But the love that you receive you can give. For we accept his Love" This comes out of thinking about giving the love that is self oriented. I am not saying "that love which you have in you, which never leaves, which comes from God, cannot be given" The point is that the love that is in you, if you have believed in Jesus and confess him, comes from God, it is not because of love that you have found by "loving yourself"

House church forever!
Hello I hope this finds you in good stead. The most priceless moment is when you wake up and you hear yourself say "I Love You Jesus" never loose sight of that. Well it's the night after "Coffee evening at Papbap" I have written a song called "The day after;debrief" because today is debrief day. God's already made his position clear. I'll be having a good day today :) It's a poem - you can read it. but i encourage you to start a beat going and try to sing it. You might get "pre-laughter" I am!
